Financial Controller

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team in Copenhagen.  

The Position 

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Controlling and Compliance for EMEA, you will become part of a growing and developing team, where you will drive and develop our finance setup for the investment vehicles managed by CISC. In so doing, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for our investment vehicles.  

Your role will consist of, but not be limited to: 

  • Controlling of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling, IC etc. 
  • Overseeing setup of new investment structures for the EMEA region 
  • Reporting to investment teams and other stakeholders on financial performance of investments 
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate initiatives to improve accounting processes and procedures 
  • Point of contact for local service providers responsible for finance and corporate matters 
  • Review of internal reports, external annual reports and tax reporting 
  • Oversight and controlling of service provider activities.  

The Candidate 

The ideal candidate comes with 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in a project controlling environment. We also look for the following in a candidate:

  • High ability to prioritize assignments and ensure short deadlines 
  • Thrives with responsibility and displays high attention to detail 
  • Motivated by building best practises and growing the finance function 
  • Knowledge of operational finance 
  • Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
