Associate / Sr. Associate, Fund Structuring

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for an Associate / Sr. Associate to our Fund Structuring team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The role

As our new Fund Structuring Associate / Sr. Associate, you will collaborate cross-functionally to establish and implement new funds and fund strategies working closely with Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, other colleagues in Finance as well as external service providers and advisors. You will typically be engaged from the idea phase and oversee the execution of new funds and initiatives, ensuring alignment internally within finance and with stakeholders both internally and externally.

In addition to having an important part in structuring new funds and initiatives, this position also involves designing cross-functional processes and workflows aimed at optimizing efficiency and productivity.

 

Key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Fund structuring from a finance perspective
  • Contracts and agreements from a finance perspective
  • Project management and workflows
  • Stakeholder management within the organization
  • Direct external service providers and advisors.

 

You

You have a min. 2 years of full-time experience from a private equity/asset manager, finance, or legal team in a medium/large sized commercial-oriented company, or consultancy. From your experience you have gained and ability to work cross functional, and an ability to handle multiple workstreams in an organized and structured manner.

Moreover, you hold a relevant master’s degree within Finance, Law, Economics or Business Administration.

  • Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Close attention to details and a high level of accuracy
  • Solid experience with PowerPoint
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Experience in project management methodologies is beneficial
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
