Legal Counsel, Employment Law

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) - is currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join our People Team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The role

As Legal Counsel, Employment Law, you will be part of our People Team that currently totals 11 employees. You will be physically located in Copenhagen and working especially closely with the team’s two legal counsels and two Analysts.

In your new role, you’ll will work with employment law and HR within the CISC organization. You will be responsible for the preparation of employment agreements, secondment agreements, addenda, and consultancy agreements, while guiding the hiring managers in relation to terms, compensation, and benefits. You will have a variety of cross-functional and cross-hierarchy internal stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be involved in HR administrative and operational work, across the organisation setting high demands for a structured approach and people skills.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

  • Becoming a trusted go-to person in relation to HR legal matters
  • General counselling regarding Danish and international employment law
  • Prepare and manage employment-related agreements
  • Manage and become the point of contact in relation to external lawyers
  • Ensuring compliance with local employment law and developing and maintaining contractual templates, policies, and procedures
  • Support on optimizing and implementing HR processes, administrative projects, employee relations in general, and various other HR-related tasks.

In this role you will enjoy a wide contact surface across the CISC organization being a contact point for all employees in relation to HR legal queries.

  • CISC Management.

 

You

You have some years of experience within employment law from a law firm and/or a similar position from an in-house advising role. Your educational background is preferably a master’s degree in laws (cand.jur., cand.merc.jur.). You thrive in a complex organization where things are moving fast, and quality standards are second-to-none. Knowledge and/or experience within HR GDPR-related matters is considered an advantage, however, not a requirement.
