Business Controller, Business Finance

 

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Business controller to join our office in Copenhagen.

 

The Role

We seek a Business controller to manage and optimize our asset transfer and fund restructuring processes. In this role, you will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful preparation, execution, and reporting of asset transfer packages.

 

Reporting to the Finance Manager in Global Business Finance, you will become part of a dedicated team, collaborating closely with colleagues across different departments and regions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Package preparation: Independently prepare comprehensive packages related to asset transfers, co-investments, reallocations, and restructuring. Take ownership of the entire package lifecycle from start to finish, including presentations during Signing Sessions and DocuSign sign-offs.
  • Detailed reporting: Provide detailed information about asset transfers and related activities to the project management office (PMO).
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively develop relationships with diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Presentation: Present complex packages during Signing Sessions, explaining intricate issues clearly and understandably.
  • External management: Oversee and coordinate with external service providers and advisors to ensure seamless execution of asset transfers and related processes.
  • Process ownership: Ensure applicable processes, contracts, and agreements are integrated with Finance. Set up and present internal information and Q&A sessions to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Process optimization: Initiate and facilitate internal process improvements and standardize processes across CFO areas to enhance efficiency.
  • Legal collaboration: Work with internal and external legal advisers on side letter negotiations with investors and revisit previous fund setups for optimization.

You

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Business controller with 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in asset management, fund administration, or related fields. You will be critical in coordinating and optimizing asset transfer processes and ensuring accurate and clear communication of complex issues.

Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.

  • Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comprehensive analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and Danish, both verbal and written, as well as great communication skills
  • Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment.
