Financial Controller, Corporate & Finance

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Corporate Financial Controller to join the Finance team in the UK.

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Controlling and Compliance for EMEA, you will become part of a growing and developing team, where you will drive and develop our finance setup for the CISC and CIP UK Entities. In so doing, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering best-in-class finance processes for our business.

More specifically, you will responsible for developing, implementing and facilitating initiatives to improve accounting processes and procedures.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the UK or a hyrbid working model, with access to our offices in Sheffield and London. 

Your role will consist of, but not be limited to:

  • Oversight and controlling of the day-to day accounting performed by third party service providers
  • Responsibility for P2P process, ensuring timely approval of invoices, payments and dealing with vendor queries
  • Assist with pre-agreeing quarterly billing and overseeing the production and delivery of sales invoices
  • Controlling of accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, IC loans, dual bookkeeping systems reconciliation, etc.
  • Compile quarterly management accounts reporting as required by Global Finance Team
  • Ensuring timely submission and payment of all tax filing, incl VAT, CIT, WHT, PAYE etc

The Candidate

The ideal candidate comes with 2-5 years financial controlling or financial management experience, ideally in a corporate controlling environment. We also look for the following in a candidate:

  • Thrives with responsibility and displays high attention to detail
  • Motivated by building best practises and growing the finance function
  • Knowledge of corporate finance
  • Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
