Manager, FP&A

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Manager to join the FP&A team in Singapore.

CIP aims to scale up its operations substantially on an international level, with a particular emphasis on the Asia Pacific area in the next few years. CIP expects to have EUR 100bn under management by 2030 making it one of the largest renewable infrastructure funds in the world. CIP’s Flagship Fund, Energy Transition Fund, and New Markets Fund have identified several potential offshore/onshore wind, battery, onshore solar, hybrid, PtX projects in KR, JP, TW, AU, NZ, CN, VN, ID, and IN for development, construction and operation.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A APAC, you will join an expanding team and provide support for the CIP investment funds and investment management team, overseeing reporting and workflows across the stages of renewable investments, covering aspects like project financing/refinancing, divestments, and risk management.

You will contribute significantly to the team tasked with conducting financial modelling and forecasting for investments overseen by CISC APAC. Your tasks will include providing financial analysis, valuation, decision support, participating in performance management, and reporting for the investments and funds managed by CIP. Furthermore, you will participate in ad hoc analysis on e.g. power markets, hedging strategies, currency swaps, and other financial products.

 

Responsibilities will further consist of but not be limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models for both upcoming and existing assets
  • Reviewing financial models and model outputs of team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Reporting on quarterly valuation and investment returns
  • Providing robust and detailed analysis and support to the CIP partner and investment management team responsible for the investments
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis of investments and development projects helping pinpoint opportunities and risks
  • Providing high-quality financial analysis and PowerPoint presentations to support informed management decisions  
  • Other ad hoc tasks, including participation in refinancing and divestment processes

We look for the following in a candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or other relevant fields. Other relevant educational qualifications with the right work experience will also be considered
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant roles
  • Solid valuation and financial modeling knowledge and experience from, for example, a private equity firm, consulting, or multinational corporation
  • Proficient in quantitative analysis and highly meticulous with details
  • High proficiency and experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Skill in performing effectively when faced with imminent deadlines
  • Proficient in both written and oral English communication
  • Desire to work in an international, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of renewable energy projects could be considered a valuable asset
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese is advantageous
