Senior Finance Manager, Interconnector Delivery Co

Interconnector Execution Ltd – a company established by the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team in London.  

The Position 

The Senior Finance Manager is an integral part of the senior management team responsible for delivering infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director daily and will assume responsibility for financial management & accounting of the interconnector projects. 

More specifically, supporting the Commercial & Regulatory Director to achieve effective outcomes for projects‘ regulated revenue streams in collaboration with OFGEM and BNETZA (Germany) & CREG (Belgium). 

Responsibilities will further consist of: 

  • Prepare and oversee Accounting, Audit, Treasury, Budgeting, Tax, Controlling, Reporting, Compliance, Project Finance / Corporate development functions of the projects 
  • Conduct accounting, budget and forecasting, cost controlling and cash forecasting procedures and reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness 
  • Oversee all financial planning, periodic financial performance and KPIs, and business case evaluation for the project 
  • Support and ensure projects audit activities are performed in a successful and timely manner 
  • Contribute to process of project financing and M&A transactions for the projects under guidance of the Capital Markets team 
  • Establish and maintain cost and budget controls ensuring appropriate internal controls are developed and in place

  • Project SteerCo / Board of Directors 
  • JV Partners 
  • External suppliers, service providers and consultants 

You

The ideal candidate comes with a degree in economics, finance or similar with circa 10 years of experience working at a large auditing consultancy/advisory firm in accounting, preferably in a renewable energy sector.

  • Comprehensive leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. 
  • Proven experience overseeing complex financial models and making key business decisions based on results 
  • Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions, influence others and deliver results. 
  • Strategic vision and analytical skills. 
  • Proven experience working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
