Project CFO, Project Finance
Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Project CFO to join the team in Madrid.
The Position
The Project CFO is an integral part of the senior management team responsible for delivering the project in Spain. You will report directly to the Project CEO daily and will assume responsibility for financial management of JV Cos and Project Cos related to the designated projects. You will be instrumental in building up and developing the broader project organization, with some hands-on activities required.
Responsibilities will further consist of:
- Leading and overseeing all Accounting, Audit, Treasury, Budgeting, Tax, Controlling, Reporting, Compliance and Project Finance / Corporate development functions of the project
- Overseeing all financial planning, periodic financial performance and KPIs, and business case evaluation for the project
- Supporting and ensuring projects audit activities are carried on a successful and timely manner
- Ensuring project liquidity by project tracking cash flow to propose actions when necessary
- Oversee budget and forecasting, cost controlling and cash forecasting procedures and reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness
- Establish and maintain cost and budget controls including ensure appropriate internal controls are developed and in place
- Prepare and participate in management and board of director and SteerCo meetings for the project

You
The ideal candidate will have an extensive professional experience, preferably within the renewable or construction industry and in multinational companies.
We also look for the following in a candidate:
- Proven experience overseeing complex financial models and making key business decisions based on results
- Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions, influence others and deliver results
- Fluency in Spanish & English, verbal and written
- Stakeholder management and organizational understanding
- Comprehensive leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strategic vision and analytical skills
- Proven success working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
