Energy Analysis Associate
Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for an Energy Analysis Associate to join our office in Mumbai, India.
The role
As our new Energy Analysis Associate you’ll be a part of a team consisting of 3-4 ambitious professionals. The team is responsible for analysis of energy generation, schedule and dispatch, strategy for new project development related targets and activities, and your role will be to develop a robust model to understand on the power generation & price trend for different renewable energy generating plants.
More specifically, you will be responsible for development a reporting according to our selected industry frameworks and answering investor requests.
Responsibilities will further consist of:
- Project Feasibility Studies: Conducting financial and technical analysis for solar, wind, BESS and other renewable energy projects.
- Data Analysis: Using market data (IEX, C&I Bilateral & Government bids) and analytics to forecast energy prices, optimize trading strategies, and assess market conditions. Tracking all Bid results under different policies (central and state)
- Demand & Supply Mapping: Matching the energy demand to help offtakers to optimize their supply from the renewable sources.
- Energy Storage: Analyzing technologies like batteries and hydrogen storage to improve energy reliability and optimize supply (with charging and discharging strategies)
- Regulatory Analysis: Reviewing regulatory frameworks and their impact on project development and investments.
- Energy Scheduling & Dispatch: Forecast demand using historical data and market trends. Plan and schedule power generation to meet forecasted demand and coordinate dispatch

- We are looking for an individual who has completed a master’s degree in power management and comes with min. 3-4 years of full-time experience from a similar position.
- Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment.

- Self-igniting and delivery oriented
- Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Comprehensive analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, as well as great communication skills
- Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment.
