Analyst (Student Assistant), Global PMO

 

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Student Analyst to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

The role

As an Analyst, you will have the exciting opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a real-world setting. You will collaborate with highly qualified and experienced professionals in our Global Project Management Office (PMO) while contributing to our successful project delivery.

In this role, you will be actively involved in various project management and project delivery-related activities alongside your colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing project documentation, planning and participating in project maturity assessments, developing and implementing tools, as well as directly supporting project directors and teams. You will also perform various types of analyses using Excel and Power BI to support informed decision-making and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed together with the entire team.

 

Responsibilities will further consist of:

  • Update and maintain our SharePoint site, which hosts valuable tools & processes for project delivery 
  • Coordinate with PMO practitioners across CIP’s portfolio
  • Collect and maintain data used to conduct portfolio overview analyses
  • Closely collaborate and support our team members within their field of expertise
  • Assistance with presentations and communication material.

This part-time Analyst position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week while you are enrolled at a university. We value flexibility, so your workload may vary, and we expect both you and the team to adapt accordingly. You will report directly to a team member who will provide you mentorship and guidance as you embark on this exciting journey with us.

 

You

We are looking for a candidate, either in the first year of a master’s or in the last year of a bachelor’s degree, who plans to pursue a relevant master’s degree in, for example (but not limited to), Project Management, General Management and Analytics (Cand. Merc.), Business, Engineering, or Energy (MSc).

Moreover, you are a highly responsible and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, effective, and innovative environment.

 

We look for the following in a candidate:

  • High academic performer with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of Project Management practices
  • Prior experience or knowledge of Project Management frameworks (e.g., PMI or similar) is beneficial
  • Thrives with taking initiative and ownership while also demonstrating high attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (experience with Power BI would be beneficial)
  • Excellent team player with solid written and verbal communication skills.
