Business Intelligence Specialist, Finance
Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a service provider working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The role
As our new Business Intelligence Specialist in our CISC Global Business Service team, you’ll join a team of three ambitious professionals. The CISC Finance team is responsible for utilizing BI reports for daily operations (e.g., bank reconciliation, bank balances, weekly PTP invoice status, etc.) and monitoring vendors’ performance (e.g., SLA and KPI reporting). We deliver BI reporting to support the increase due to growth, a call for better transparency and more compliance, and to streamline new requirements from CISC Finance teams.
The Power BI Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and migrating the existing BI solutions while developing new reports for the business to utilize. The role covers the development of solutions at Global, Regional, and Market levels. The Specialist will collaborate with the master data function to fully utilize CISC's new Cost Breakdown Structure.
The primary goal of the role is to provide dedicated BI reporting that will support CISC growth by helping the organization make fact-based decisions and prioritize its focus. The Specialist will also provide insights into key business drivers, build compelling presentations that offer the proper understanding, and nurture a more self-service analytical culture at CISC by providing concise and relevant Power BI dashboards. You can also troubleshoot and resolve SQL and BI issues by showcasing, dialoguing, and onboarding the business with a data mindset.
Responsibilities will further consist of:
- Creation of new and maintenance of existing BI solutions
- Refinement of new BI tasks in terms of dashboard and data requirements
- Training and supervision of business units who wish to develop BI solutions together with the D&A team
- Ensuring that the future CISC BI setup is maintainable and scalable across our global offices
- Support transitioning BI reports when MS Business Central replaces MS Dynamics Navision.

You
We are looking for you to have completed your master’s degree and have several years of full-time experience in a similar position. We expect you to have a high level of expertise in Microsoft Business Central.
We expect you to possess a curious and outgoing mindset that allows you to educate yourself about the business and thoroughly understand its needs. This will enable you to develop appropriate and effective solutions tailored to those needs. You are detail-oriented and structured in your approach. You consistently maintain high visual standards and ensure uniformity across new Business Intelligence (BI) products, contributing to a cohesive user experience. With a solid understanding of data structures and modeling, you can design and implement efficient reporting solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability for informed decision-making.
